When asked where the song’s inspiration came from, Medlye said: “It was in the place of deep thoughts about the ongoing mental health issues growing significantly all over the world, how people no longer believe in cooperative help (Love) but self preservation which has led to suicide.”
Knocking by Medlye is a technique for communicating to the soul itself that only pure LOVE will do.
Additionally, Medlye works as a promotional model, songwriter, fashion designer, life coach, and professional public speaker. She oversees Medlye Ministry as its president. a youth organization with the mission to mend the gap between youth and adults by teaching young people how to live by the morals and values of their religion through the use of education, media, art, and entertainment.
“Knocking” serves as a reminder that Christ’s love is still active and true both now and forever, working to save every living thing from all types of death.
Hades never comes home. Freedom is now here.

LYRICS:
CHORUS:
Oh he came knocking.
Rolling down our hell.
Love comes knocking.
uhhhh yeah……
VERSE 1:
Lights come up
Still locked in darkness
Sun came out
The day’s not dawning
Counting dreams
But soul’s still buried
It’s been too long
Tomorrow burning
uhhh uhh…
REFRAIN:
No gates, No doors
Window escape
Dragged down by these tangled thorns
oh hades is now home I have to stay.
ohh… oh…
Screamed a hundred million miles
The wall’s too thick it won’t go through
Oh hades is now home I have to stay…….
CHORUS:
Ah…. he came knocking.
(Knock knock)
Rolling down our hell.
Love comes knocking.
(knock knock)
uhhhhhh……
VERSE 2:
I felt the quake
Freedom calling
Heard his voice
it kept on pulling
Floating out…
(out out)
My soul rejoices
Been here too long
Tomorrow healing
uhhhh…..
REFRAIN:
Seen gates, Seen doors
Window escaped
Draged down by these tangled thorns
oh hades is not home I’m glad to go.
Screamed a hundred million miles
The wall’s too thick but it went through
Oh hades is not home I’m glad to go…….
go…..
VAMP:
Up (His taking us higher)
Up (We ain’t coming down no more)
Up (No….)
Up (We’re going higher ehhh….)
Up (We’re going higher)
Up (We’ve been set free)
Up (Somebody)
Up (Up we go…)
ohh uhhhhh..
